Our new indoor surface

Stanglwirt's indoor tennis courts were resurfaced in May & June 2017 by the company “Schöpp Sportböden”. The new surface is a high-end and high-tech new type of carpet with rubber granules to allow sliding and reduce wear on the body. It simulates the laying characteristics of clay courts with a slow and regular bounce. We are very proud to be able to offer our guests such a high quality surface on all of our 6 indoor tennis courts.
It was a long way to find the perfect floor covering because Stanglwirt Balthasar Hauser just wants the best for his guests. He had to travel to Dubai to get this optimal surface.
But it´s not only the covering that changed – one of our six indoor courts has been arranged to a multifunctional indoor ”sports-field”. Now it is also possible to use this court for youth activities like box trainings, soccer, basketball or volleyball tournaments.
