After a golden start of the year 2017 with the great honour of being listed on the “Gold List 2017” of the renowned international travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler as one of the 147 best hotels of the world again, the year now comes to an end with another international award for the Green Spa Resort Stanglwirt: the Reader’s Choice Award 2017.
Every year, the readers of the international Condé Nast Traveler magazine rate their favourite hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships and airports worldwide. And they agree: The Stanglwirt is a must among the top 10 in the resort category (Europe).
The hotel has been family-managed for eleven generations and was the only Austrian resort to win the international Condé Nast community over, taking its place among famous houses like the Caresse Resort & Spa (Luxury Collection) in Turkey, the Borgo Egnazia in Italy, and Ashford Castle in Ireland. A total of 544 resort hotels worldwide were up for choice.
