THE LEGENDARY WEISSWURSTPARTY AT THE STANGLWIRT
The Stanglwirt and the Austrian Ski Federation (ÖSV) have long maintained a special connection. Before the iconic “Streif “downhill race at the Hahnenkamm competition in Kitzbühel, we traditionally invite the ÖSV downhill skiers to the Stanglwirt inn for a strengthening meal.
At the premiere of the Weißwurstparty in 1992, Bavarian master butcher Toni Holnburger was also present and invited the Austrian skiers to taste his original Bavarian white sausages at the regulars' table in the Stanglwirt. After a successful evening among friends, they thought about repeating it the following year. In subsequent years, more and more guests came, until eventually invitations had to be sent out and the venue expanded.
Nowadays, we host celebrated musical acts, with the Stanglwirt team catering to up to 2,800 guests, including well-known figures from sports, entertainment, society, and business.
