From the host's viewpoint

The pace of life is so hectic nowadays that we increasingly long for home and a sense of security. We regard it as an honour that our house has been the home of authentic folk music for half a century. A "rejuvenation point", where singers and musicians derive mutual benefit from joining-in with the singing and music-making!

Some fifty years ago, it was our family's love of singing and music that gave rise to the singers' gathering here at the Stanglwirt. Ever since, it has been a matter of following the family tradition. As hosts, we would like to thank all the singers and musicians, as well as our song-loving audiences, for their loyalty and their contribution to the long-standing success of the singers' gathering.
